Super Orders is exactly what its name implies:
Zen-Cart order management on steroids.
It's more in all the areas I always see Zen users asking for more:
more navigation options; more order control; more thorough data; and more
detailed reports.
But it's NOT more than you can handle. The system was designed for data
entry clerks in my office, some of the least-technically inclined people
on the planet. You're a Zen user, you can handle it. 
Ready to get started? Just follow the installation instructions below;
note that the system uses *no* overwrites and you only make changes to
one pre-existing file!

FEATURES
====================
Super Orders is a massive collection of customizations mixed with new
features. Because it covers so many files, I'll break down the features
according to which file they appear in. All of these files are located in
the /admin folder.
Each feature description begins with a new line. All features are in
addition to the normal files; nothing was removed.
super_orders.php
---------------------
Location: Admin > Customers > Adv. Order Management
The orders listing screen now has shortcut buttons on each order line that
match the buttons that appear in the sidebox, saving an extra click.
Added customer shortcuts, one to find all orders by the customer, another
to pull up their profile edit screen.
The original "edit" button in the sidebox has been replaced with "details."
"edit" now goes to a full editing system (see super_edit.php).
The detail screen (again, used to be the "edit" button) includes
shortcuts to edit the order, pull up the invoice and packing slip, and a
quick navigation system to pull up the detail screen for any other order.
Each product has a checkbox next to it, and under the products in an order
(detail screen), you'll find a button that says "Split Packing Slip."
Select the products that are being shipped and press the button. The screen
will advance to the packing slip, with a green check next to those products
you selected, and a red X next to those you did not. Click the logo in
the upper righthand corner to invert the checkmarks and X's; you can do
this as many times as you want.
You'll find the all-new payment tracking system on the details screen. It
will only appear if the order is a PO or check payment ("purchaseorder" or
"moneyorder" module codes). If the value of a check is not equal to the
order total, another check-submission form will appear to input a second
check number (from the customer if they underpaid, and a rebate
check from you if the customer overpaid). There is no value line as the
system assumes the second check will be for the remaining balance or overage.
Each step will only appear after the last is completed, and data is
timestamped each time it's entered.
super_edit.php

Ack: super_edit.php is based on Edit Orders v1.59 by ECDiscounts
(the original contrib doesn't work with the newest versions of
Zen-Cart, so I don't recommend using it)
From here you can edit absolutely anything about the order. You can even
change the payment method (note that payments are not resubmitted if
switching to an online module). All the fields are pretty self-explanatory.
To remove payment information (P.O., check, refund check, or balancing
check), simply remove all the data for that entry and it will be deleted
from the database. This a permanent delete, that's why all the lines must
be empty, so be careful.
If you make a mistake entering check or PO data in super_orders.php, you
can change it here. The "Last Modified" timestamp will be updated to
reflect this.
